RE: Hate Flyers Found in Beverly and the City’s Response

As this Branch started to put together its own thoughts after learning that racist hate flyers and posters were being delivered and posted in Beverly, we read the Official Statement that Mayor Michael Cahill and his colleagues published.

We simply cannot say it any better than they have; see the letter here. 

This NAACP Branch wholly supports, and applauds, the group of Beverly leaders who have collectively used their voice against hate messaging that seeks to intimidate, demean, and marginalize members of the community. We feel proud to have leaders who will stand in defense of their community.
